J. Taylor Crandall
J. Taylor Crandall is a Managing Partner of Oak Hill Capital Partners and has been part of the firm since 1986. Mr. Crandall has senior responsibility for originating, structuring and managing investments for the firm's Media and Telecom and Technology industry groups. Prior to joining Oak Hill, Mr. Crandall was a Vice President with the First National Bank of Boston, where he managed a leveraged buyout group and the bank's Dallas energy office. Mr. Crandall earned a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Bowdoin College, where he has served on the Board of Overseers.
Steven B. Gruber
Steven B. Gruber is a Managing Partner of Oak Hill Capital Partners and has been a part of the firm since 1990. Mr. Gruber has senior responsibility for originating, structuring and managing investments for the firm's Healthcare and Business and Financial Services industry groups. Prior to joining Oak Hill, Mr. Gruber previously was a Managing Director and Co-Head of High Yield Securities at Lehman Brothers and a Managing Director of its merchant banking group, as well as a member of Lehman Brothers' Investment Committee. He earned a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where he was a Merrill Fellow.
Denis J. Nayden
Denis J. Nayden is a Managing Partner of Oak Hill Capital Partners and has been with the firm since 2003. Mr. Nayden co-heads the groups focused on investments in Basic Industries and Business and Financial Services industry groups. Prior to joining Oak Hill, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital, where he was responsible for 20 separate businesses representing $555 billion of aggregate assets and 90,000 employees in 35 countries. During his 26-year tenure at General Electric Company. Mr. Nayden also served as Chief Operating Officer (1994-2000); Executive Vice President (1989-1994); Senior Vice President and General Manager in the Structured Finance Group (1987-1989); Vice President and General Manager in the Corporate Finance Group (1987-1989); and Marketing Administrator for Air/Rail Financing as well as various other positions of increasing responsibility (1977-1987). Mr. Nayden earned a B.A. degree in English, magna cum laude, in 1976 and a M.B.A. in Finance in 1977 from the University of Connecticut, where he serves on the Board of Trustees.
Mark A. Wolfson
Mark A. Wolfson is a Managing Partner of Oak Hill Capital Partners and has been working with the firm since 1992. Dr. Wolfson serves as a broad-based senior advisor across all of the business verticals. Dr. Wolfson has taught at the Stanford Graduate School of Business since 1977, including a term as the Dean Witter Professor and a term as Associate Dean. He also has taught at Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago and has been a Visiting Scholar at M.I.T.'s Sloan School of Management and the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Mr. Wolfson earned a B.S. degree and an M.A.S., in both cases at the top of his class, in accounting and finance from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
